We don't just throw around money to anyone here! Stipends must be earned by ISLI participants and schools in very specific ways. Completion of the following items will earn ISLI participants or their schools a $1000 stipend (unless noted otherwise).

1. PRINCIPAL OR LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER TAKES AND COMPLETES A BADGE COURSE

The participant must complete each assignment and turn in exemplary work prior to the badge course completion date. This option is open to Principals and Leadership Team members.

2. PRINCIPAL OR LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER TAKES AND COMPLETES A CERTIFICATE COURSE AND A DIGITAL WORKSHOP

The participant selects one certificate course and one digital workshop, and then completes each assignment and turns in exemplary work prior to the course/workshop completion date. This option is open to Principals and Leadership Team members.

3. PRINCIPAL OR LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER TAKES AND COMPLETES TWO CERTIFICATE COURSES

The participant must complete each assignment and turn in exemplary work prior to each course's completion date.  This option is open to Principals and Leadership Team members.

4. CONSULTANT AND COACH VISITATION WITH FOLLOW UP

The participant completes a 4-6 hour visitation by an ISLI coach or consultant, implements the content and strategies from that visitation into their school site, and completes a follow up visitation by the same coach or consultant for implementation feedback. This option is open to Principals and Leadership Team members.

5. PRINCIPAL AND LEADERSHIP TEAM COMPLETES A BADGE COURSE

The Principal AND Leadership Team may complete a badge course collaboratively. For this option, the EdMicU team must be made aware of which of the Leadership Team members are going to be taking the Badge Course prior to the start of the course. The collaborative group must then complete each assignment and turn in exemplary work prior to the course completion date. This option earns the Principal a stipend.

6. WHOLE STAFF COMPLETES A CERTIFICATE COURSE

The entire staff of a school may choose to complete a certificate course collaboratively. As is the same with Option 5, the EdMicU team must be made that the entire school is completing the certificate course together prior to the start of the course. All assignments must be completed in exemplary fashion, before the end date of the course, to earn a stipend. This option awards a stipend to the school site.

7. CUSTOMIZED SCHOOL COLLABORATION

The school site may choose to implement a customized strategy or initiative across their school, separate from the options in the EdMicU course catalog. For this option, the ISLI Principal must work with an ISLI coach to craft the strategy, establish benchmarks, and develop ways of monitoring its effectiveness. This option earns the principal a stipend.
